From its conception as an ISO9001-2015 approved export specialist based in Hull and dealing in pipeline related products but specialising in a wide range valves, valve actuators and both pneumatically and electrically actuated valve packages, AVS quickly developed into a specialist sourcing and solutions consultancy, working with several original equipment designers and manufacturers.
AVS were quick to respond and invest when the UK arm of the globally recognised J+J electric actuator brand unexpectedly ceased trading recently. Having been selected for some time by the UK arm of J+J actuators as a nominated export agent, AVS were able to secure the Matlock premises vacated by the former UK arm of the J+J actuator brand and invested in employing the redundant high quality and skilled former J+J staff.
This opportunity resulted in a reassessment of the business and AVS decided to relocate all of its operations to Matlock and close the Hull based facility as of November 30th 2018. There should be minimal impact on AVS’s customers, other than to change the address and contact details to remove the Hull address and add the Matlock address, see below.
